Intimate aesthetic procedures for men
Penile filler
Filler injections can be used to increase the girth of the penile shaft. Small injections around the head of the penis (glans penis) are also possible. These injections can also result in a discrete increase in the length of the penis; however, this is not the primary objective of the procedure. After the age of 30, the penis begins to shrink continuously over the years, both in terms of length and circumference.
At the start of the procedure, nerve block anaesthesia is administered in the form of two lidocaine injections to ensure that the penis is fully numb; however, a numbing cream left on the penis for 15 minutes is usually sufficient.
Next, a fine cannula is used to gently inject filler under the fascia (one of the layers of connective tissue under the skin of the penis). The result is immediately visible; however, the filler will need some time to settle. After receiving the injection, patients should abstain from sex for one week. We recommend using a moderate amount of filler (5 to 6 ml) for the first injection in order to give yourself time to adapt to the new physical sensation. Injecting larger amounts of filler can stretch the skin too quickly and impede the circulation of the blood vessels. Filler is broken down by the body’s enzymes and the injections last for 9 to 15 months. Injecting a volume of 10 ml into the penis shaft increases its circumference by an average of 1 cm. This does not sound like much, but in reality, it is a noticeable difference. We take a gradual approach, meaning there is no need for you to decide up front how much filler you would like. For injections on the head of the penis (glans penis), as little as 1 to 2 ml is already enough to see a satisfying result.
Risks of the procedure include bruising and sensitivity for a few days. Rare but serious complications can include unintentional injection of filler into the erectile tissue. This tissue is made up of complex muscular structures that need to be supplied with blood. A filler injection into the erectile tissue can impede perfusion, which can cause serious damage to the tissue depending on the quantity of filler.
The cost of the procedure is calculated individually based on the amount of filler used. Please be aware that hyaluronic acid is broken down after about a year by hyaluronidase – a naturally occurring enzyme in the body – which means that further procedures will be required to maintain the effect.
Glans penis – “Mushroom”
Filler injections can be used to increase the sensitivity of the glans penis, allowing for more intense tactile sensations At the same time, this procedure slightly emphasizes the shape of the glans; however, the difference is minimal unless you choose to inject a larger amount of filler. Although the procedure increases sensitivity, it also delays ejaculation, meaning it can offer benefits for men suffering from premature ejaculation (ejaculatio praecox). This type of filler injection is also sometimes referred to as the “mushroom”.
First, a local anaesthetic in the form of a lidocaine cream is applied for 20 minutes. This anaesthesia is completely sufficient for this injection. The procedure itself takes 10 minutes. A reasonable quantity of filler should be used in order to achieve results that are aesthetically pleasing and functional, Generally, this quantity is 2 ml. After receiving the injection, patients should abstain from sex for one week. Filler is broken down by the body’s enzymes and the injections last for 9 to 15 months.
